Colleen Yeager

Colleen Yeager

As the Controller of Mega Group, Colleen is responsible for the oversight and leadership of the Accounting Team.  This involves daily operations as well as financial reporting, budget preparation, accounting policy development, the internal control environment and staff management.  As a strong believer in team development, Colleen challenges staff to grow to their full potential.  Her practical approach to problem solving combined with solid analytical skills allows her to provide excellent customer service.  As an advocate for continuous improvement, Colleen encourages her team to consistently raise the performance bar.  She views Expert Accounting as a natural extension of what is already offered by Mega Group to “provide the support and services that make independent retailers stronger”. Colleen is a Chartered Accountant with over twenty years’ experience in public practice, government and private industry.

Kevin Leier

Kevin Leier

As the Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Mega Group, Kevin is responsiblefor oversight of the financial reporting, credit and accounting functions of the company. His extensive experience with buying groups in the areas of financial reporting, banking, finance, information technology as well as all areas of general administration give him the background to lead the success of Mega Group and its members.  The Expert Accounting initiative was conceived because Kevin felt that Mega Group had the accounting and business expertise and was in a perfect place to deliver a valuable service in a cost efficient manner that will save our members money and reduce risk to their organizations.  He understands how timely accurate financial information is paramount to the success of any business.  This service will allow independent owners to make impactful decisions with an eye on the bottom line.  Kevin possesses strong analytical and strategic planning skills and holds a Chartered Accountant designation. Prior to his twenty plus years with Mega Group, he was employed with Deloitte & Touche, Chartered Accountants, Saskatoon.

Ron Muller

Ron Muller

As the General Manager of Expert Accounting services for Mega Group, Ron is responsible for the vision and success of this initiative.  Ron was brought on board due to his integrity, experience and success as an independent business owner and manager.  For over twenty years he watched his own store grow from a start-up operation to an established, profitable business with annual sales exceeding $3 million.  This expertise in directing the business finances, budgets, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and pricing strategies gives him the hands-on knowledge required to direct the Expert Accounting services within Mega Group.   Ron has always given back to his community by volunteering on various Boards and the Chamber of Commerce for both Bonnyville and St. Paul, AB.  He continues to give back to his community of independent retailers by leading a team of highly qualified accountants that provide the timely and accurate financial information to support the success of the independent.

As the Division Accountant of Expert Accounting for Mega Group. Jason is responsible for providing customized accounting services to our members. He brings twenty years of experiences in senior roles with small to large companies in a variety of industries and companies that are for profit and not for profit. This experience gives him the edge needed to service multiple companies located in a variety of geographical areas and provide them with solid real world business advice that allows their business to grow and prosper. Jason and his team are excited to be able to bring their passion and knowledge to the membership and look forward to building an unstoppable partnership.
